This Privacy Policy explains how Trazo (“Trazo”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use our website at withtrazo.com and the Trazo web application (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in we collect your email address and a login code used to authenticate you.
• Your content. The lessons, rules, words, examples, homework, notes, images and drawings you create in the notebook. This content is stored so it can sync across your devices.
• Payment information. If you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; we keep a customer and subscription identifier to manage your plan.
• Usage & device data. Through our analytics provider we collect anonymous or pseudonymous data such as pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location (from IP), browser and device type, to understand and improve the Service.

How we use your information

• To provide, sync and back up your notebook.
• To power AI features (organizing notes, generating rules and quizzes).
• To process subscriptions and send service-related emails.
• To analyze usage, fix bugs, and improve the product.
• To protect the Service against abuse and fraud.

AI processing

When you use AI features, the relevant content (for example a note or a photo of your notebook) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a response. This data is processed to provide the feature and is not used by us to train models.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, under agreements that protect your information:

• Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
• Neon — database storage for your notebook.
• Vercel Blob — storage for uploaded images and files.
• Anthropic — AI processing.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email.
• PostHog — product analytics.

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as theme and language), and measure usage with our analytics provider. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

Data retention

We keep your content for as long as your account exists. You can delete items at any time within the app. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal data and content, except where we must keep records to comply with law or resolve disputes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
